NAGAR KIRTAN should have a positive impact on everyone. we should learn about Guru sahib`s life, About Khalsa Panth, About Rehat Maryada, And Gurbani. Everyone should get inspire by our acts in nagar kirtan and know about sikh panth. let's know what we should do and don't do in Nagar Kirtan

Do's

• Show respect to the Guru Granth Sahib and participants.
• Join in singing hymns and the procession.
• Wear appropriate Sikh attire.
• Maintain personal hygiene.
• Volunteer if possible.
• Stay peaceful and respectful.
• Do Seva and Help With Preparation and Cleanup.
• keep adab of Guru Granth Sahib ji and panj pyare.
• resite gurbani kirtan.

Don'ts

• Behave disrespectfully towards Sikh faith or symbols.
• Consume alcohol or intoxicants.
• Use mobile phones excessively.
• Disrupt the procession or inconvenience others.
• Litter.
• Disregard photography guidelines.
• Engage in lively dancing during the procession.
• Play or sing non-religious songs.
• Nagar Kirtan is not a full-blown Mauj Mela
• Bhangra or gidda is not part of nagar kirtan, so don’t do that.
• Non-religious songs are not part of nagar kirtan so don’t play those.
• Its not a place of fashion show, so kindly wear decent attire
